Longzhong Scenic Area is situated at Mountain Old Longzhong, 15 kilometers west of Xiangfan City.

Longzhong is the place where Zhuge Liang led a hermit's life during the Three Kingdoms Period. It is also the scene where the story about “visit thatched cottage for three times by Liu Bei” and the “Longzhong Couplet” took place.

Longzhong consists of five parts including Old Longzhong and Shuijing Village. The existing attractions include Three-Visit Hall, Caolu Pavilion, Wolongshenchu, Yeyun Buddhist Nunnery, Banyue Rivulet, Liujiao Well, Liangfu Rock and Cheng'en Temple.
